I tried the build today ( 1Dec2008 ) and although I can watch all channels with sound (AAC+ support) I can only watch a few minutes before it segfaults.
Excellent work though, hope this issue gets sorted soon.
Updated my myth with these patches, but I still can’t get any locks on the open channels here in Norway (should be the same mpeg4 encoding as in NZ). Signal is good though. I’m able to watch the channels in vlc, but not mplayer. Do I need to configure from scratch? Any ideas?
hf, have you done the scan in mythtv-setup? I have had problems with auto scanning and I usually end up scanning on the frequencies that I know work and I fill in all the details exactly as I see it in channels.conf for mplayer. Otherwise I would suggest asking on the mythtv-users mail list.
